HEPS-Uganda is a membership organisation, consisting of about 250 individual and institutional members. Membership is open and therefore the coalition is calling upon interested people/ organisations both nationally and internationally to join.
HEPS-Uganda has various types of membership to suit different people who support the promotion of health consumers’ rights and responsibilities. If you identify with the cause and would like to become a member, HEPS-Uganda has several categories of membership:

Annual subscription for individual members is Ushs 10,000 (US$5) and Ushs 50,000 (US$25) for institutions.
Members’ benefits and responsibilities are viable for a year (beginning 1st January & ending 31st December). Membership fees must be paid for the whole year even if the membership starts after beginning of the year. Benefits are for the members only and not transferable to others.
HEPS-Uganda holds Annual General Meetings whereby all paid up members are entitled to attend in person and to vote during election years.

Receiving quarterly Newsletters and other bulletins summaries

Receiving training for community health trainers and learn to train your peers on health rights, health responsibilities including rational use of medicines.

Usage of HEPS Resource Centre.

Voting rights at the Annual General Assembly.

Participate in HEPS health policy advocacy and research projects

Working for HEPS on volunteer basis
